To All Fundraisers:
First, let me say I am so thankful to have had the opportunity meet
so many wonderful people this year. On behalf of Joel, Preston and
myself.....it has been an absolute privilege to partner with each of you
in efforts to support the doctors, nurses, staff and, most importantly,
kids and families being treated at Children's Medical Center that need
our help.
Passion for Children's 2010 fundraising campaign is winding down and
Friday, December 10th...is the FINAL day we can process any donations.
I want to take a second and reflect on our journey since we began
in 2009, and collectively, what all of you have accomplished.
Passion for Children's - Journey by the Numbers (2009 - 2010 YTD)
- Total number of individual donations YTD - 4,986
- Total number of individual fundraisers (2009 - 2010)- 3,482
- Total number of individual fundraising teams (2010) - 168
- Donations YTD were made by individuals from 49 different states and 11 different countries
In 2010:
- 46 teams YTD have raised more than $1,000
- 8 teams YTD have raised more than $10,000
- 3 teams YTD have raised more than $25,000
- 1 team YTD have raised more than $100,000
Total dollars raised YTD (2009 - 2010) by fundraisers has exceed - $1,000,000.
This is a testament to the collective time, energy and effort all
of you have put into doing something for a group of kids that need your
support.
It’s exciting to know that no single individual had to do this
alone....working together we’ve been able to accomplish something
significant, and that was Joel's vision from Day 1. Joel has wanted to
provide you the tools to help a hospital that takes care of kids and
families that need your support. Together, we can make a difference!
Please make sure to mark your calendar for - Tuesday, January 25th,
2011. We are going to celebrate what you all have worked so hard to
achieve; and kick-off what will be the future for kids and their
families.
There is so much more we can accomplish, and I want to challenge each
of you not to do more than you did this year....but to match what you
did this year....and recruit one person to join you. That's right....go
find one neighbor, friend, co-worker or relative and challenge them to
do what you did. This time next year, they will be glad you did!
