North Texas’ Premier Running Event Kick Starts the 2009 TX TOUGH Tour at the Cotton Bowl!
Sunday, March 29th, kicked off the first of three stages in the 2009
TX TOUGH Tour. The Run Stage, the TX TOUGH Ultra Relay & 5K Fun
Run, was the first of its kind produced in North Texas, and was a
chance for participants of all ages to lace up their running shoes to
do something significant for Children’s Medical Center. The backdrop
was the historic Cotton Bowl in the middle of Fair Park located in
Dallas, TX. No matter their skill level, hundreds of people showed up
to be a part of this inaugural event! Relay teams were comprised of
friends, family and co-workers. All participants had the opportunity to
experience the thrill of running to the Finish Line on the field inside
the stadium to the sound of cheering fans!
