Enthusiastic volunteers are crucial to our success. By volunteering, you will be supporting thousands of people who are raising money for Children's Medical Center and the more than 370,000 kids who are treated at Children's each year. There are a variety of areas where we need your help. Please consider volunteering your time - it'll make a difference in the life of a child!

How do I sign-up?

Simply click here, to go to our volunteer sign up and pick the day you’re available, and sign up online. Then one of our volunteer coordinators will contact you to help place you in a job during a time that you’re available. If you'd like to help NOW and not at just an event please email preston@passionforchildrens.org with your name, email, phone number and available interest and Preston will contact you.

Can I sign-up for more than one job?

YES. All the volunteer positions are divided into shifts and we need help throughout the day. We'll work with youto identify times that best fit your schedule, ensuring you have a great volunteer experience.

When should I arrive?

We request you arrive approx 20 - 30 minutes prior to the time you are scheduled to help. This will allow time to park, check-in and get to the volunteer location you've been assigned.

Where do I park?

Parking will be available in areas designated specifically for Volunteers. These areas will be marked with signage and are highlighted on the course maps associated with each of the individual stages.

Where do I go when I arrive?

Go directly to the Volunteer Check-In booth. The Volunteer Check-in booth will be located under a TX TOUGH branded tent in the designated parking area allocated for volunteers.

What if it rains?

We will start participants rain or shine, so dress appropriately. If there is a chance of rain, we recommend you bring a poncho, umbrella, and a change of shoes and socks. In the event we experience severe weather that would force us to postpone or cancel the event, you will be personally contacted by phone by a Passion for Children's representative.

Will I get to eat?

Every volunteer receives an ID badge and an "Official" Volunteer shirt allowing you to access the Volunteer Hospitality area. Volunteer Hospitality areas will have food and drinks available throughout the day so ALL Volunteers can eat before, during and after helping with the event. Volunteers stationed in areas on the courses and/or routes will be delivered food as well as have access to the Volunteer Hospitality area prior to starting and/or finishing their shift.
