You are key to the success of this event.
Thank you!
Join the Team!
Enthusiastic volunteers are crucial to our success. By volunteering, you will be supporting thousands
of people who are raising money for Children's Medical Center and the more than 570,000 kids who
are treated at Children's each year. There are a variety of areas where we need your help. Please
consider volunteering your time - it'll make a difference in the life of a child!
How do I sign-up?
Pick the day you're available and then review the jobs for Friday, April 25 and Saturday, April 26 below:
Friday (April 25) Volunteer Jobs
Saturday (April 26) Volunteer Jobs
How do I Start or Join a Volunteer team?
If you're interested in captaining a volunteer team or joining a volunteer team that's already been formed, click on the appropriate link for a document that will show you the simple steps:
Can I sign up for more than one job?
YES. All the volunteer positions are divided into shifts and we need help throughout both days.
Simply click on the "I'd like to Volunteer" button below to sign up online. Our Volunteer Coordinator, Jacky, will contact you if we have any questions. Otherwise, you will be notified with your job assignment specifics prior to the event. If you have any questions, you can contact Jacky directly: jacky@passionforchildrens.org
Do I need to register for the Run or Ride part of the event in order to Volunteer?
No. The Volunteer Registration is separate from the Run and Ride Registrations. However, if you want to volunteer AND also participate in one of the runs or rides then you will need to register twice; once under Volunteer Registration and then also under the Run (or Ride) Registration section.
What should I bring?
- Photo ID
- Sunglasses, hat and sunscreen
When should I arrive?
We request you arrive approx 20 - 30 minutes prior to the time you
are scheduled to help. This will allow time to park, check-in and get
to the volunteer location you've been assigned.
Where do I park?
Parking will be available in areas designated specifically for
Volunteers. These areas will be marked with signage and are highlighted
on the course maps associated with each of the individual stages.
Where do I go when I arrive?
All volunteers working the main location will go directly to the Volunteer Check-In table. The Volunteer Check-in
table will be located under a large white branded tent in the infield area. All Ride Rest Stop Volunteers will go directly to their assigned location and check in there. They will not need to come to the main location to check-in. Specific Ride Rest Stop location information will be provided to those volunteers as we get closer to the event.
What if it rains?
We will start participants rain or shine, so dress appropriately. If
there is a chance of rain, we recommend you bring a poncho, umbrella,
and a change of shoes and socks. In the event we experience severe
weather that would force us to postpone or cancel the event, the website will be updated to reflect that change and an email will be sent out.
Do I need to bring a snack for myself?
We will provide water, a light breakfast and lunch for all volunteers. If you have special dietary needs, then, yes, we would suggest you bring a snack for yourself.
